Australian satellite capacity increases for in-flight entertainment Apr 13th 2013, 03:30 Eutelsat Communications today announced that Australian Satellite Communications (ASC) is increasing capacity leased on the EUTELSAT 172A satellite for Panasonic Avionics Corporation (Panasonic), the world leader in in-flight entertainment. Australian Satellite Communications has signed a multi-year lease for a 36 MHz transponder on the EUTELSAT 172A satellite to benefit from its superior performance and coverage of the South Pacific, including Australia and New Zealand.
