ISLAMABAD, Pakistan — Former Pakistani president and army chief Pervez Musharraf may not be convicted on murder charges filed Tuesday in the 2007 assassination of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, some analysts said, but they say a trial still could have important cathartic benefits for the nation.
